"Passion, thoughts feelings....It's all in the details."
Kern E is a multi award winning abstract artist based in Roskilde, Denmark.
All through his childhood and teens he has always been fascinated by the magic of drawing, paintings, comics and music and he quickly discovered that to being creative was his passion.
In 2018, he found himself in the midst of a "life changing event" with a deep felt urge to express his thoughts and emotions. His creativity prompted him to use the canvas and his artistic expression metamorphosed from cartoon stripes to explosions of color best classified as abstract expressionism.
The inspiration could be everyday observation of human contact, thoughts, happiness, and sadness, captured in the moment.
In other words......
Kern E’s artworks are snapshots of moods, impulsively channeled directly and unfiltered onto the canvas.
He is relying on his intuition when he decide a painting is complete and therefore the end product rarely matches his preconceived notion.
